Description
The BrownDog 8-pin SOIC to DIP adapter is a small PCB that adapts 8-pin surface mount SOIC packages to a through-hole DIP footprint. These adapters are useful for modifying and upgrading devices that use 8-pin DIP components when only SOIC-8 components are available. The BrownDog 8-pin SOIC to DIP adapter is also useful by making SOIC-8 surface mount packages compatible with solderless breadboards.
Pins come pre-installed to the adapter, eliminating any need to solder headers to the board. We also offer this adapter in array panels, which is convenient for automated assembly with pick-and-place (PNP) machines.
