Description
The BrownDog 16-pin SOIC to DIP adapter is a small PCB that adapts an SOIC-16 SMD component to a 16-pin DIP footprint. These adapters are useful for replacing a 16-pin DIP component with an SOIC-16 equivalent, and when prototyping with SOIC-16 devices by making it possible to install them into solderless breadboards, perf boards, and 16-pin DIP sockets. This adapter accepts both narrow and wide-body SOIC-16 SMD components.
