Description
The BrownDog™ RC4136 upgrade adapter SOIC-14 version is an adapter that replaces the RC4136 op amp with a conventional quad (four) channel op amp in the SOIC-14 SMD package. This adapter is made from FR-4 laminate with ENIG plating on the exposed copper, with two header pin blocks mounted on the bottom surface. A quad op amp in the SOIC-14 SMD package mounts to the top surface. This adapter has a 14-pin DIP footprint, just as the ‘4136 op amp does. Quad channel op amps for use with this adapter are also available for sale on this website.
Our original RC4136 upgrade adapter (model number 060601) is also available for sale. The difference between the two adapters is that model number 060601 replaces the RC4136 op amp with two dual-channel op amps, while this RC4136 upgrade adapter SOIC-14 version uses one quad-channel op amp. Your choice between which version to use will depend on the op amp you intend to use as a replacement.
