Description
The BrownDog 8-pin MSOP to DIP adapter is a small PCB that adapts 0.65 mm pitch surface mount devices (including MSOP-8, SOT23-8, VSSOP-8, and Micro8 packages) to an 8-pin DIP footprint. These adapters are useful for modifying and upgrading devices that use 8-pin DIP components with equivalent MSOP-8, SOT23-8, VSSOP-8, or Micro8 devices, and for prototyping and evaluation with devices in those packages using solderless breadboards.
Pins come pre-installed to this adapter, eliminating any need to solder headers to the PCB. We also offer this adapter in array panels, which is convenient for automated assembly with pick-and-place (PNP) machines. See our custom surface mount adapter arrays page for more information.
