We provide many customers in a variety of industries with custom electronic components to solve their unique design problems.
In order to provide you with an accurate quotation for a custom electronic component, we will need the following information from you:
- Schematic (can be computer generated or hand drawn)
- Mechanical drawings if they are relevant, or the desired physical dimensions or constraints for the finished product
- Bill of materials for the components that are to be placed on the PCB/PWB
- Any other compliance requirements, e.g. RoHS (lead free) or IPC-A-610 Class 3 or J-STD-001 assembly standards for aerospace, medical and military systems
- Quantity to quote
- Whether or not an initial quantity of prototypes is necessary prior to production. This is common in the aerospace and defense business, so we are accustomed to this requirement.
- Desired lead time. Overall lead time can be affected by the availability of components in the BOM, and how complicated the design is. If you have an urgent requirement, we can prioritize it to the extent that is possible.
